To be honest, I actually didn't expect anyone to like it. Part of the reason I ended the first chapter the way I did was because I thought it served as both a good cliffhanger for the next chapter and a good close just in case it never got updated. My decision to update heavily depended on the first chapter's reception. I really didn't expect to receive the glowing praise that I did, especially since it was fairly obvious that it was a CielxLizzy fanfic and not a CielxSebastian fanfic. I honestly just expected to get a bunch of hate comments from CielxSebastian shippers about how they hated Lizzy and didn't want to see her with Ciel and blah
